Sweet Secrets Chocolate

Sweet Secrets Chocolate is a nationally selling chocolate company run by two powerhouse women who know chocolate, business, and how to have fun with both. They sell their gourmet chocolate creations exclusively online to consumers as well as providing client and employee gifting services for businesses and corporations. I was hired to update and manage their Shopify website and revamp their email and social media marketing. I optimized the website and created and scheduled eye-catching and data driven emails and social media campaigns which contributing to a 69% sales increase in the first year.
I created new email templates that increased click through rates and added value to emails for subscribers through exclusive deals, increasing open rates and website traffic. I also set-up automated email workflows to maximize potential conversions including a welcome email, abandoned cart emails, abandoned browse emails, and customer retention emails. Automations helped capture otherwise lost sales and increased returning customers by 59% from 2018 to 2019.

I cleaned up and updated the flow of the Shopify website for a smoother and more efficient shopping experience, and made small design change to reinforce branding. These changes included editing the code to make sure the site was accessible to customers with disabilities. I also added an exit email-pop-up with an offer which has helped increase email subscribers and new customers.
